What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Privacy Statement At Father Quadras India vzw we know how important it is for you to understand what we do with your personal data. Since the start of our non-profit organisation we have always treated your personal data with the greatest carefulness. We do of course continue doing so in line with the new legislation known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Which personal data do we collect?

The personal data we are collecting directly from you are: name, address, date of birth, standard and/or mobile phone number and email address. These are data that we received when you decided to take part in our project.

By accepting to be foster parent for one or more Indian children and the resulting payments those payments and your bank account number became also part of the collected personal data. For companies we also collect the company identification number. We do not collect any other personal data, also not via other media.

What do we do with your personal data

The personal data we collect are used to:
– inform you about our activities (e.g. via our Newsletter)
– inform you about your foster child(ren) (e.g. picture, Christmas card)
– drawing up the yearly fiscal declaration for your gift(s).

Your personal data are only stored on the computer of Father Quadras India vzw. They are only accessible to a limited number of collaborators and only in function of one of the aforementioned activities. Those collaborators have an obligation of confidentiality. Our computer systems are adequately protected against unauthorized access in order to avoid any leakage of data.

Father Quadras India vzw will never transmit your personal data to a third party unless it is legally authorized and required (e.g. to the authorities for the fiscal declaration).

Personal data are kept on file as long as it is required for the purpose or based on legal requirements and are deleted afterwards.

Your rights

You have certain rights regarding your personal data and their usage. You always have the right to see, to correct or to ask for deletion of the personal data that we collected from you.
